Raising kids can be tough — especially with twins!

I am truly grateful for the tuition support that I have received from Kids Co. You see, two years ago I became a single parent of boy/girl twins. The stress of being a single-mom, raising two kids alone while maintaining a full-time job, led to much anxiety and financial stress. I needed help and Kids Co. was my saving grace. In 2012 I enrolled my children in their Mercer Island program and since then they have established wonderful relationships with the other kids as well as with the staff. Our program manager, Amanda Sherry, continually goes above and beyond to help me and the other families in Kids Co. on Mercer Island’s care. She has been so patient, helpful, and understanding of my ever-changing life situation and she has found ways to accommodate me and my young children along our journey.

I want to thank everyone who has donated to the 2013 Kids Co. Virtual BBQ in support of the Kids Co. Scholarship Fund.
