Aiko and her daughter Saniya are shining examples of how the Kids Co. Scholarship Fund helps people develop talents and strengthen families. This single mom is pursuing a degree in Accounting at Seattle Pacific University in order to increase the earning capacity for her little family of two. To reach this goal, she needs childcare for her daughter at Kids Co. at John Hay to allow her the necessary time to attend classes and study. The State of Washington childcare tuition assistance program requires that the parents must be working in order to qualify. Fortunately for Aiko, and the many parents like her, the Kids Co. Scholarship Fund is designed to give families options to better themselves in ways that build up their career path through education.

Saniya is a great kid who thrives at Kids Co. at John Hay. We look forward to her bright smile and eager attitude every day. Without tuition assistance, this youngster would not be able to be part of our community.
